Time limits and Punctuality
Please make sure you check in on time at the airport.
How can we work together to help to ensure flights depart on time?
Punctuality is our priority, which is why the teams at Aigle Azur are continuing their efforts to improve your travel experience, working every day to ensure that your flights take off on time.
Making a flight leave on time depends not only on having good traffic conditions on the ground and in flight, but also on efficient coordination between security and immigration officers, aeroplane maintenance crews, Aigle Azur staff and, most of all, the passengers.
Aigle Azur advises you to make the most of the time allowed between the opening of check-in (3 hours before departure for all flights, 2 hours for Europe) and the final check-in time printed on your ticket (1 hour for all flights, 45 minutes for Europe) to check-in as early as possible.
The earlier you complete your check-in, the quicker you will get through the security and immigration checks and reach the departure area.
Boarding begins 45 minutes before your flight’s departure, and the latest you can board is 20 minutes before departure. Beyond this time, we will no longer be able to allow you on board.
Aigle Azur reminds you that due to reinforced security and border control measures, as well as the congestion of all areas of airports (entrances, parking, security, passport control and access to departure gates), waiting times are likely to be considerably longer. Don’t hesitate to pre-empt your arrival at the airport as much as possible!
· Check-in :
Please come to the check-in counters 3 hours before your flight leaves (2 hours for Europe). We advice you to do it via Internet or your mobile.
· Check-in closes :
Check-in closes 1 hour before departure (1h30 for Mali and 40 minutes for Europe).
· Boarding :
Once you have checked in, please go straight to the departure lounge.
Pay attention to displays and voice announcements so you can board when your range number is called.
Boarding begins 45 minutes before the flight’s departure and you must come to the gate no later than 20 minutes before departure.
Please note that if you come to the departure gate for your flight after it has closed, in other words 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time, we will be unable to allow you on board.
Failing to come to the departure gate will automatically lead to the cancellation of your ticket and the re-allocation of your seat.
Once you have checked-in your luggage and yourself, check your flight's departure gate which is on your boarding pass.
It's possible you will be boarding from the new zone of Paris-Orly 4 terminal, which is more modern and more spacious but is also further away.
Be careful! It will take you several minutes to get there. As soon as you have checked-in, go through the security controls and head directly to your departure gate. Once there, there are places where you can relax or work. Please remember that Aigle Azur closes its boarding 20 minutes before the flight is due to take off.
How can you save time at the airport?
- Self-service check-in machines at Paris-Orly 4 Terminal, making your check-in easier so that you enjoy a stress-free start to your journey.
- A “Common Check-in” area dedicated to checking-in all Aigle Azur passengers flying from Paris-Orly 4 Terminal, giving you easier and faster access to security checks and departure gates.

- An Aigle Azur team will be on hand at check-in and boarding, with increased numbers at Paris-Orly 4 Terminal during the summer season, to help things run smoothly and provide business assistance
- And of course you can check-in online at www.aigle-azur.com and on the Aigle Azur mobile app, between 48 hours and 3 hours before the departure of your flight, as well as choose your seat and print your boarding pass, which saves you a lot of time at the airport when you fly.
