Checking in at the airport
Aigle Azur provides you with various ways of checking in, starting 48 hours before your flight.
Checking in at the counters
Aigle Azur provides dedicated counters to make it easier for you to check in.
As soon as you arrive at the airport, please locate the access gate closest to the airline’s boarding area. You’ll find information about your flight on the information screens.
If you have any special items (musical instruments, fragile objects or others), we recommend that you talk either to the station manager or to the staff at the sales counter.
For both your own safety and that of all passengers as a whole, we have introduced certain measures for precautionary and vigilance purposes:
- Luggage: you must never leave your luggage unattended as in all cases it will be treated as suspicious and destroyed. You must never - under any circumstances whatsoever - accept a package or piece of luggage from anyone else.
- Checking in: please check the final check-in time shown on your ticket.
This time limit guarantees both your own comfort and that of other passengers.
If you have not checked in either online or using our terminals, we recommend that you come to the airport three hours before your flight’s departure time (two hours for Europe), in order to go calmly through all the stages involved in checking in and so that you have a wider choice of seats. The check-in closes 1 hour before your flight's departure ( 1h30 for Mali, 40 minutes for Europe).

- Checks on documents: once you are at check-in, you must show your valid identity documents and your electronic ticket, which you must have printed out in advance. The security checks prior to check-in are designed to ensure that you are not carrying any hazardous materials on board the aircraft.

- Dedicated counters: Business Class passengers or holders of an Azur Plus Infini card have a dedicated check-in counter to speed up the process for them. They then have access to the airport’s VIP lounge.
- Assistance: some passengers may be entitled to assistance at the airport. Find out about the assistance available: further information

Checking in using our self-service terminal
Check-in terminals are available at Paris-Orly airport.
- They are quick and easy to use:
1. You can check in any time between 48 hours and 1 hour prior to departure
2. Print out the boarding card using the check-in terminal
3. Go straight to our boarding area (or to the check-in area to drop off any hold luggage).
- How it works:
1. Log in:
Give either your name and reservation number (6 characters) or your electronic ticket number (9 figures)
2. Check-in:
Select the passenger you'd like to check in – you can check several passengers in by clicking "check another passenger in" and then entering that person’s details.
Check the information about luggage carefully.
3. Choose your seat:
A seat has automatically been allocated to you and to the other passengers who appear on your reservation. If you’re happy with the seats, you simply need to confirm. Otherwise, you can alter the seat number on the displayed cabin plan.
4. Your personal details:
This is a vital stage in confirming the online check-in.
5. Final confirmation:
- For passengers travelling with hand luggage only:
Come to the boarding area before the final boarding time shown on your boarding card, with your boarding card and your travel documents.
If you’re travelling with hold luggage:
Please note that you must check in your hold luggage.
Drop your luggage off before the final check-in time shown on the boarding card by going straight to our dedicated check-in counter.
- What are the safety rules and formalities?
Checking in using a self-service terminal doesn’t avoid security checks at the airport so please make sure that your identity papers and any formalities for entering the destination country are in order.
In the check-in process using a self-service terminal you must fill in the "Summary" part.
The procedures for going through the security gates and immigration are the same - you must bring your printed boarding cards and identity documents with you.
If they aren’t in order, you either will not be allowed to board or may be refused entry to the destination country, and you’ll then be immediately returned to the airport from which the flight departed.
- When can you check in using a self-service terminal?
This service is available for all our destinations.
